Bloody Berry Halloween cocktail

It’s the Halloween season, and we’ve taken inspiration from the classic Bloody Mary cocktail, adding a delicious fruity twist! This Bloody Berry Halloween cocktail is perfect for both cocktail lovers with and without alcohol, and for those who don’t shy away from a bit of a ‘bloody mess.’ The Halloween cocktail has a fruity and spicy taste that will tingle your taste buds, and of course, it’s wonderfully complemented with Beekers Berries strawberries.

Ingredients & supplies

For 4 servings | 30 minutes preparation time

 

Ingredients
  • 160 ml vodka (for the alcoholic version) or 240 ml mineral water (for the non-alcoholic version)
  • 1 pack Beekers Berries strawberries
  • 60 grams sugar
  • 400 ml tomato juice
  • Few drops of Tabasco
  • Few drops of Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tbsp water
  • Ice cubes

 

Supplies
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 1 saucepan

Preparation

Preparation
  1. Finely chop the strawberries and place them in a saucepan with the sugar and one tablespoon of water.
  2. Heat the strawberries while stirring and crush them against the inside edge of the pan with the back of a spoon to make a pulp.
  3. Add the tomato juice and let the syrup reduce for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the syrup through a sieve into a container to cool.

 

For the Halloween cocktail (WITH alcohol)
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add vodka, cooled strawberry syrup with tomato juice, and Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce to the shaker per cocktail.
  3. Close the shaker well and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Cool a cocktail glass with ice cubes and strain the contents of the shaker into the glass.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for the other cocktails.

 

For the Halloween mocktail (WITHOUT alcohol)
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add water, cooled strawberry syrup with tomato juice, and Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce to the shaker.
  3. Close the shaker well and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Cool a cocktail glass with ice cubes and strain the contents of the shaker into the glass.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for the other mocktails.
