Elegant raspberries

Nothing is more challenging than releasing a fragile raspberry into the world in such a way that it’s resilient, yet retains its elegant, sweet flavour. Naturally, our growers have succeeded in doing just that.

Introducing: Sapphire. Sapphire opens the season. We’re already picking this variety in March. This light pink raspberry with its authentic character smells heavenly and has a fantastic, full flavour.

But do you know what the most important thing is for us? The picking. It’s a sort of honourable task for the highly skilled: careful but effective picking that ensures the arrival of a flawless raspberry on your plate.

Sapphire is an exquisite, sweeter eating raspberry with an enchanting taste. Sapphire grows up to twice the size of other varieties and has a distinctive, plump conical shape. This passionate lady has a velvet like smoothness and wonderful sweetness, which is not too overpowering and very moreish!  Sapphire is the absolute number one amongst raspberries and steals everyone’s heart!

Without warmth, there’s no life or growth. So we cherish our fruit with all the warmth we have. The warmth of our hearts. In the greenhouse. On the land. From the sun. In a continuous cycle of reuse, where possible.

It’s no coincidence that our home base is in North Brabant. This region is the cradle of the strawberry. Brabant has been providing the most delicious strawberries from its sandy soil since as far back as 1400. We respect our origins and nature.

Love for beautiful soft fruit, for life, for nature, for delicious food, for enjoyable work and for each other. That’s what unites us. We hope you’ll be able to taste that in every strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry to our name.

We invest continuously in knowledge, technology, the conditions, and our people in order to cultivate the best varieties of strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. Each fruit should be a delectable mouthful of summer. Always and everywhere.
