Nothing is more challenging than releasing a fragile raspberry into the world in such a way that it’s resilient, yet retains its elegant, sweet flavour. Naturally, our growers have succeeded in doing just that.
Introducing: Diamond and Sapphire. Sapphire opens the season. We’re already picking this variety in March. This light pink raspberry with its authentic character smells heavenly and has a fantastic, full flavour. The Diamond follows not long afterwards. This one is light red with an attractive gleam.
But do you know what the most important thing is for us? The picking. It’s a sort of honourable task for the highly skilled: careful but effective picking that ensures the arrival of a flawless raspberry on your plate.
Without warmth, there’s no life or growth. So we cherish our fruit with all the warmth we have. The warmth of our hearts. In the greenhouse. On the land. From the sun. In a continuous cycle of reuse, where possible.
It’s no coincidence that our home base is in North Brabant. This region is the cradle of the strawberry. Brabant has been providing the most delicious strawberries from its sandy soil since as far back as 1400. We respect our origins and nature.
