Ingredients
- 180 g butter (+ for greasing)
- 300 g flour (+ for dusting)
- 150 g sugar
- 1 egg
- Pinch of salt
- 125 g mascarpone
- 125 ml cream
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 lemon
- Mint for garnish
- 250 g Beekers Berries strawberries
- 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
Supplies
- 1 rolling pin
- 1 mixer
- 10 tart pans of about 12 cm
Preparation
For the dough
- Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and mix with the mixer.
- Add the egg to the butter and sugar mixture and mix again.
- Add the flour and a pinch of salt. Mix all the ingredients together until it forms a crumbly dough.
- Knead into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Place the dough ball in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Grease the tart pans with butter and lightly dust them with flour.
- Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out with a rolling pin.
- Line the tart pans with the rolled-out dough and prick a few holes in the bottom with a fork.
- Bake the tart bases for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Remove the tart bases from the oven and let them cool.
For the topping
- Grate the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- Put the mascarpone in a mixing bowl and add the vanilla sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and cream. Mix all the ingredients together.
- Keep the mixing bowl in the refrigerator until the tart bases are cooled.
For decorating
- Spread the cooled tart bases with the topping.
- Cut the strawberries into pieces and top the tarts.
- Mix the powdered sugar with a few drops of water to make a thick glaze. Drizzle this mixture over the strawberry tarts.
- As a finishing touch, garnish the strawberry tarts with a few mint leaves.
