Homemade blackberry jam

Yummy, fresh homemade jam with our delicious blackberries. This homemade blackberry jam is simple, quick to make and perfect for toast, pancakes, or cakes.
Tip: put the blackberry jam in a jar with a lid and you can keep the jam for a long time!

— INGREDIENTS —

500 gr Beekers Berries blackberries
200 gr jam sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice

— RECIPE —

Wash the blackberries and try not to eat too many! Mash the blackberries in a blender or with a hand mixer. You can sieve the blackberry mixture if you prefer not to have seeds in it. Put a pan on the stove and add the blackberry mixture, lemon, and sugar. Keep stirring the mixture and as soon as the jam is boiling, let it cook for a final 2 minutes.

Note: we use jam sugar because our blackberries are already deliciously sweet of themselves!

Pour the blackberry jam into clean jars and tighten the lid. Turn the jars upside down and let them rest for a few minutes. This way they can create a vacuum seal. Put the jars upright again and store in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
