For 1 small jar | 45 minutes preparation time
Ingredients
- Half an onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tomato
- 1 can of concentrated tomato paste
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp honey
- 3 tbsp paprika powder (smoked)
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Half tsp oregano
- Half tsp cumin
- 200 ml water
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil

Preparation
- Dice the tomato, onion, and garlic.

- Add 200 ml of water, mustard, soy sauce, garlic, pepper, paprika powder, oregano, and cumin, and let it simmer for 5 minutes while stirring.
- Add a handful of Beekers Berries redcurrants (without stems), along with the honey, to the sauce.
- Let the mixture sit on low heat with the lid on for another 10 minutes.
- Pour the barbecue sauce (still hot) into the mason jar and close it.
And… serve! Enjoy,
