American pancakes

These American pancakes are deliciously fluffy and sweet in flavour. The perfect breakfast for the weekend and easy to make with just a few ingredients.

 

— INGREDIENTS —

250 gr flour
2 large eggs
1 tsp baking powder
50 gr caster sugar
50 gr dairy butter
0,5 tsp vanilla extract
300/350 ml milk
punnet Beekers Berries strawberries, blackberries, blueberries & raspberries

 

— RECIPE —

Take the berries out of the fridge so they can reach room temperature. Put a pan on the stove and melt the butter. Meanwhile, put the flour, baking powder, eggs, caster sugar and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Add the melted butter and mix with a whisk. Next, add a little bit of the milk and then mix it again. Repeat this a few times and make sure the mixture stays fluffy!

Let’s start cooking!

Return the pan to the stove and melt a bit of butter. Take a ladle and put one scoop of the mixture in the middle of the pan. Flip over the pancake as soon as small bubbles appear in the mixture. The pancake is ready when it is nicely golden-brown. Cook all the pancakes and alternate between plain and blueberry pancakes. To make blueberry pancakes, simply push some blueberries into the mixture in the pan. Stack all the pancakes and decorate them with fresh Beekers blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Finally, drizzle some maple syrup or honey. Et voilà: delicious American pancakes!
